Get Organized

As a couponer, being organized is the key to your success.  Remember, there is no right or wrong way to coupon but being organized will help to maximize your savings. Organization can be the one thing that can stop a newbie from couponing successfully.  Here are a few organization methods that couponers use.

Filing method :
Get a letter sized accordion file and file your coupon inserts. Don’t clip until you use them.
Get a wallet size accordion file and clip your coupons.

No-clip method :
Don’t clip your inserts. Place them in a sheet protector along with a list of all of the coupons in the insert. Then put all of your inserts in a binder. While this may work for some, I find this to be just as much work, if not more than the binder method that I use.

Binder Method :

My FAVORITE method!  I clip my coupons each week and keep them organized by categories in baseball card holders.  This allows you to have all your coupons with you at any time so you don't miss out on any unadvertised deals.
